The Band

We – Ermina (vocals), Franzi (vocals), Laura (drums), Max (guitar), and Tim (bass) – are EJECT from Gütersloh!
Our goal is to reach our audience with our music, remind them of the beautiful things in life, and spread fun and joy.

>>More and more, better and better, inspiring and thrilling our audience and transporting them to a world where anything is possible<<

Ermina

Ermina complements Franzi in the vocal duo and rejoined the band in 2024. With her energetic voice, she brings power and intensity to the songs. She has a special talent for forming second voices, thereby enhancing the band’s characteristic sound.

Franzi

Franzi joined in 2022 and impresses with her classical vocal training. She sings second voices with great feeling, ventures into complex pieces, and tries out new things. Her positive attitude makes every rehearsal an experience and contributes to the band’s creative diversity.

Laura

Laura has been keeping the beat and spreading good cheer since 2016. Her direct drumming style gives the songs a special touch. In addition to drums, she also plays guitar and sings. Her cheerful nature brings energy to rehearsals and performances.

Max

Max has been with the band since the beginning and shapes it with his songs and his feel for sound. He plays several instruments, creates the two-part vocals with Franzi and Ermina, and manages the band’s online presence. His goal: to surprise and thrill the audience.

Tim

Tim has been with the band since 2015 and shows that the bass guitar can be more than just accompaniment. He tries something new in every song and gives the music its own unique touch. At the same time, he forms a stable foundation and, together with Laura, creates the band’s unmistakable rhythm sound.

The EJECT-Story

“Embarking on a musical future”

2023 - 2025 - rehearsals, rehearsals, rehearsals, and a return

More coming soon

2020–2022 – the COVID years

“Gütersloh band on the road to success”
It couldn’t have gone better – after the release of our single and accompanying music video last year and EJECT being named the best band in the west on WDR2 in January, February finally saw the release concert for our first EP, which in retrospect was a complete success. With specially designed CDs and T-shirts, we were even able to set up a merchandise stand, which was well received by visitors.
With seven more gigs on the horizon, we didn’t know that this would be our last concert for a long time. The reason? Corona.
During this time, our singers unexpectedly left the band, which further disrupted our plans.

2019 - The first EP of their own

“The East Westphalian quintet is dedicated to a highly melodic rock sound.”
The year began with a few acoustic gigs, which helped us find new songs.
But our main focus this year was on preparing our CD/EP.
With all the recordings in the can, not only did the anticipation for the EP grow steadily, but we also became even stronger as a band.
Special thanks go to our music producer Stefan Wohlharn (who has played for KC Rebel & Adel Tawil, among others), who always had an open ear for us and our wishes during this time.
Another highlight this year was the music video shoot (with Johann Schindler) for “Thunderstorm,” the title song of our upcoming EP.

2018 - Finally complete

“We’re moving forward”
The last two years have been marked by many changes, but the change in vocals should now be the last.

Together, we have relearned our repertoire and captured voices at concerts in order to better assess our own potential.
Last but not least, we have continued to push ahead with the planning of our studio album. The pre-production gives us high hopes for 2019 :)

2017 - Moving forward, getting closer to the goal

“Eject’s strength lies in the diversity of its program.”
This year began with another change of vocalist and unfortunately ended the same way.
In the meantime, however, we have promoted our band image as an up-and-coming young band and started planning our first CD.

2016 - Reorganized once again; the goal is to give our best at all times

“Upbeat music with fast rhythms and serious lyrics.”
We kicked off 2016 with lots of gigs, and despite another change in singers and drummers, we kept going. New to the band was Laura, who won us over with her confidence on the drums. In September, we played our biggest concert to date at Verler Leben.

2015 – A year of highs and lows

“The goal is to inspire the audience, and to do so in a lasting way.”
This year, we focused on composing our own songs in order to develop further and lay the foundation for upcoming concerts.
The first major change in the band was particularly significant. Two musicians left us, making room for Tim, who took over on bass guitar.
During this difficult time, the song Carry on was written, which is intended to give people the courage to get back up and keep going, even in difficult situations.

2011–2014 From music school project to EJECT

“A versatile young band that is not to be missed.”
November 2011. A band project coached by teachers was launched by the Gütersloh District Music School. During this time, there were frequent changes in the line-up, except for one constant – Max, who has remained with the band to this day.
On May 1, 2014, the time had come—the first concert with the official band name “EJECT”!
Our first original song, “Here We Are,” and our first big concert at the Campus restaurant in Verl reinforced our decision that it was time to break away from the music school and strike out on our own.
